My Adventure

One day, I found a very pretty key. I played with it with Max. Then the key began to glow. “Oh help!” said Max. “I only hope this is not a nightmare!” I said. We closed our eyes and … POP! We opened our eyes and saw a tank in front of us. Soon we found that we were holding guns and bullets and wearing soldiers’ uniforms. “What’s going on?” asked Max. An armed helicopter was approaching. We fired at it and shot it down. A man came and yelled at us, “You dumb soldiers! You shot down our own helicopter!” “Oh bother!” I said. “Let’s run!” We run into another helicopter and took off. “Come back!” yelled the commander. We flew and flew, and flew … and saw an enemy helicopter.

It fired at us. “How should we fire with this machine?” I asked. “I don’t know. I can’t find the manual.” said Max. Then we saw smoke coming out of our helicopter. We were going to crash! Then I tried to press a button, and rockets flew out of the rocket launcher. It worked! The enemy aircraft went down.

“Hooray!” I shouted.

“We are still crashing!” said Max.

Then we saw a tank. We jumped in and kicked the enemy out. A huge wave of troops came towards our tank. “Let’s fight!” I said. Max took the machine gun and fired while I drove the tank to the enemy soldiers, bumping them and bringing them down. The troops fled and we began to drive forward again. Then we reached the enemy base and saw a few flight fighters.

OH!!! My favorite! We drove the enemy troops away and got on a plane. But we didn’t know how to take off. So we got off the plane and climbed on a nearby helicopter and flew away. Soon we found we were chased by 10 enemy helicopters. “We’re dead for sure this time!” Max said. “Save that for next time.” I said, and fired some missiles that turned the enemy helicopters into ten large fire balls. We fired more missiles and destroyed the enemy base.

When we went back to our own base, all of the soldiers cheered for us. The commander said: “Well done, soldiers.” The key began to glow again. “It’s time to go,” said Max. “Good luck!” said everyone.

Then we were home. What a battle! “Look at what I have brought back with me!” said Max. I turned around, oops …
